Arkansas LPN Salary, Wage Earnings, & Hourly Pay Scale


According to May 2013 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the state of Arkansas employs 11,760 LPNs. At the time when this data was collected, the average annual salary for this occupation was $35,810 in Arkansas. This equates to $17.22 per hour. The Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers area, which encompasses part of Missouri, has the highest average LPN salary in the state of Arkansas. This area employed 1,180 LPNs in 2013 at an average salary of $39,780 per year. This equates to $19.12 per hour. Salaries ranged from under $31,710 to above $47,670, with the median being $40,130.

The part of this state with the lowest average salary for this occupation is the East Arkansas nonmetropolitan area, which includes 17 counties. 1,420 LPNs worked in this area in 2013. The average annual salary was $32,740.
