Many programs in Pennsylvania include an interview as part of the admission process.
Application deadlines vary for each program. For example, application deadlines at the University of Pittsburgh are February 15 and May 1. At Carlow University, the application deadline is April 1.
Tuition costs vary between programs as well. For example, at Chatham University, tuition for the DNP program costs $22,923. At DeSales University, tuition for the DNP program costs $36,400.
Curriculum and Degree Requirements
The number of credits a student must complete in order to earn a DNP depends not only on the program that the individual has chosen, but also on the level of education he or she has already attained. For example, at Temple University, an individual with a BSN must complete 58-62 credits in order to obtain a DNP degree. If the individual already has an MSN degree, he or she will have to complete 30 credits to earn a DNP degree. At Chatham University, an individual with a BSN degree must earn 27 credits in order to obtain a DNP degree.
