RN Programs in Alabama

Alabama RN Progarms

A registered nurse is a medical professional in charge of directly caring for patients for minor issues. This person assists a doctor in the way that he or she cares for a patient. An RN's duties can be as minimal as taking blood pressure readings to jobs as complex as overseeing the entire nursing operation for a clinic or hospital. Anyone who has a desire to help other people out on a regular basis, could find a career as an RN to be extremely rewarding.

RN programs in Alabama can range from a few months to four years in length, depending on what kind of degree is being pursued. An associate's degree in nursing may only take one to two years to complete, but a bachelor's degree typically takes four. Nurses with more education generally make more money.
