Montana CNA Training

CNA classes provide students with a working knowledge of medical terminology that is used in health care settings, as well as basic skills for working with medical technology and dealing with patients.

Becoming a CNA in Montana

In order to become a CNA in Montana, an individual is required to complete a 75 hour CNA training program. He or she is not permitted to work full-time or more than 4 months as a CNA before taking the exam. The individual must pass both the written and skills CNA competency evaluations.

Licensure by Reciprocity

Individuals who are trained as CNAs in other states can apply for reciprocity only if they are currently registered in another state.
